JIM CORAM

Elder

Jim was born in Detroit Michigan and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. Married to his wonderful wife Kathy. They are a proud couple of 5 grandkids. Jim was raised by great parents who loved and served the Lord, as they attend Faith Baptist Church of Royal Oak, MI. His main profession was as an Electrical Contractor, and Builder. He also spent 26 years as a part-time deputy Sheriff with the Oakland County Sheriffs Dept. After Jim was married, they continued on in the Lords service at another Baptist Church working with the senior high, and college and career group for 13 years, and served on the leadership team for 4 years. They have been coming to Florida since 1994 as much as possible until 2002 when they were able to spend their winters here. About 5 years ago they were introduced to Welcome Home by Rick Flack, the Associate Pastor and started attending. They have been involved helping with different projects and enjoying their worship here. When approached by the staff about being an elder and seeing the excitement about our church Jim was excited to be part of the Godly team that is serving at this church alongside two awesome Pastors.

WAYNE WILSON

Elder

Wayne M Wilson was born to Maurice E and Amy R Wilson on August 30, 1948 in Angola, Indiana and raised in Ohio on a farm between Edgerton and Edon, Ohio. Wayne graduated from Edgerton High School in 1966 and immediately attended Auctioneers education in Decator, IL. On January 21, 1966 he met the love of his life, Virginia (Ginny) Brown and married one year later on January 21, 1967 and they will soon celebrate sixty years of marriage. They have two children, Brent and Julie. They are both married and have blessed them with seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Wayne, after several different jobs became the Sales Manager of a good size injection molder of plastics while building his Auction & Real Estate Company with at one time twelve auctioneers, five secretaries and host of agents. He conducted auctions and was licensed in nine different states as an Auctioneer and a Real Estate Broker in three states. He became a CAI member, associated with Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and National Auctioneer Association and National Realtor Association (NRA). He occupied many positions on different board including Trade Organization, Bank and Manufacturing entities. After many vacations in Florida in 2006, they rented a home in Mount Dora Country Club to see if they liked the area and in 2009, they purchased a home in Royal Harbor in Tavares. One reason for that purchase was due to us attending Adventure Christian Church where Doug Dykstra was the minister. After Doug left that church and they cancelled the Saturday night service we found Welcome Home Christian Church. Wayne is very honored to be on the Elder team and will do his best to honor the other elders and to do God's will. Wayne and Ginny spend six months in Florida from the end of October until the end of April and six months on their farm in Edgerton, Ohio.
